Flagging & Reporting
If you find some content that violates the Community Guidelines, or another policy on the BitChute platform, then please feel free to flag or report it via the content reporting tools.
Reporting via the Platform
The recommended method for reporting content is manually via the Report function on the context navigation bar. Simply navigate to the page you want to report and click the Report icon (Flag) and follow the instructions provided. Please note that you will need to provide an email address when flagging content in case we need to contact you in response to your report.
Reporting via Email
An alternative to reporting via the platform is to send us an email via report@bitchute.com with the details of the content that is violating our policies. Please note that only URLs that successfully resolve on the BitChute platform will be processed using this method and there will be addition delays on processing as email submissions first need to be entered into our moderation system.
Reporting via the API
If you are the owner of a large volume of copyright material, a law enforcement agency, or any other organisation that is likely to generate a larger volume of reports, then our API may be a better option than the above. To get access to the Reporting API methods you will first need to contact BitChute support via support@bitchute.com. Please note that a valid BitChute account is required to access the Reporting API, and that your access may be revoked if you submit excessive invalid reports.
Appeals
We are aware that sometimes the result of moderation activity may not always be satisfactory, and that new evidence may have become available to alter the outcome. For such circumstances, an appeal process has been put in place. Please note that you can only appeal content that you have posted to the platform and you must ensure that include detailed reasoning for why you believe the moderation action was incorrect. Appeals with no reasoning will be automatically rejected.
Appeals via the Platform
The recommended method for appealing content is manually via the Appeal function on the context navigation bar. Simply navigate to the page that you want to appeal and click on the Appeal icon (Gavel) and follow the instructions provided.
Appeals via Email
An alternative to appealing via the platform is to send us an email via appeal@bitchute.com with the details of the content that you are appealing. Please note that only URLs that successfully resolve on the BitChute platform will be processed using this method and there will be addition delays on processing as email submissions first need to be entered into our moderation system.
