If there is suspicion of malicious activity on your account, then account protection may be applied. If account protection is applied you will receive an email to your registered email address informing you of this and the following things will be prevented;
- New logins to your account; existing sessions will continue to function.
- Changing and/or verifying the email address associated with the account.
- Changing the password associated with the account.
- Enabling or disabling two factor authentication.
Account protection may also be applied if you have entered an incorrect password a number of times.
Account protection should be lifted after 10 minutes, however if you receive an email and it wasn't you tying to access your account, please email us at email@example.com so we can assist.
